CNA . The Macallan Distillery.

A CNA lifestyle news feature that was filmed in the calm, cold and hilly landscapes of Speyside, in Aberdeen, Scotland. The Macallan was launching its latest multi-million dollar project. A new designer whiskey distillery that would be taking their brand to a whole new level globally.

What does your Poop say about your health?

A CNA lifestyle editorial piece. We were tasked to make an informative video on a subject that was difficult to discuss publicly. What does your poop say about your health? Using a cute art style inspired by the “kawaii” imagery famously used in modern Japanese culture. We created a character that could tell our story while keeping it friendly and approachable.

Beauty Scams

A CNA lifestyle editorial piece. For this story, we tackled the seedy underbelly of the beauty industry. Using a clean minimalist art style akin to a sunday morning comic strip, we were able to push forward the important points Singaporeans face in a way that was light and easy to digest.

Singapore Unknown Series.

This 3 part documentary series was focused on inspirational Singaporeans. Shot on location over 3 long gruelling days, we interviewed and followed these people as they told their story.

Stories and Cocktails.

Vijay Mudaliar was a young man with a passion and a dream. Taking inspirations his surroundings and his culture, Vijay began foraging the local areas for plant life and ingredients for his cocktails. Making his establishment, the only bar in Singapore to use only locally produced ingredients in their cocktails.

The Social Circus.

We take a look at Jay Che, a compassionate and caring man, who took his passion for circus arts and background in social work and fused them together. Taking at-risk youths off the streets and into the magical world of the performing arts.

Home and a Haircut.

Born and raised in the ever colourful Geylang area in Singapore. Cai Yinzhou saw and experienced things that not many locals would have even known about. His positive attitude and demeanour in life, coupled together with his incredible loyalty and passion for his neighbourhood, has led him to strive to educate and help others as Geylangs begins to evolve towards the 21st century.

Uniqlo . A Winters Tale.

A brand film that will always be close to our hearts. The first ever project shot at our then new studio. With only 2 weeks to prepare, shoot and edit, we decided to push forward with a top-down stop-motion concept. We really pulled this one out of our butts. Together with brand ambassadors Rebecca Lim and Desmond Tan, we shot over 3 days with hundreds of pieces of clothing and other wearables. Frame by frame, piece by piece.

Singtel Minions Series.

Approached to create a cute “minion” type character to explain some of the more techy based ideas that come with mobile communication technology, We created these sketchy balls with legs that have different hats to signify their purpose. These representations worked well and we were tasked to create more of these explainer videos using these characters.

Singtel HETNET
Another in the “minion” series. This time for a corporate event showing. Our little heroes are tasked to explain what HETNET is and how it affects us and the Internet of things.

History of the iPhone & Singtel
Breaking away from the sketchy minions while retaining the minimalist black and white style, Singtel were interested in showing how the history of the iphone and Singtel grew together, for the 10th year anniversary and launch of the new iPhone X.

Intuit . Cash-Flow Series.

An explainer style animation that was looking for efficient communication of what their product actually does, while maintaining a light humourous feel. Going with a hand drawn sketchy theme with heavy fills and sticking mainly with the intuit brand colour scheme. We managed to achieve the client’s goals very efficiently.

Gumtree . Stupid Jobs.

A commercial jingle performed by local music duo jack and Rai was the starting point for this project aimed at promoting a new Gumtree Jobs App. Creating a whole ensemble of characters to fill the various roles. There was a big challenge to decide what the theme of the characters would be. Ultimately it was various monsters, in ridiculous scenarios.
